Schematic public transport maps

TransitWeave draws schematic maps of public transport networks from GTFS timetable data. Ordinary timetable feeds become a simplified line map, similar to the diagrams displayed at metro stations.

In the configurator you pick a city, a mode of transport and the routes. The program works out the course of each line, simplifies the geometry and places the stop labels. The finished map can be downloaded as an SVG or PNG file.

The application uses only official data published by transport authorities. Seven Polish cities, Berlin with Brandenburg and five networks in the United States are currently available. No account is needed.
